officially announces the release of HyperBac for Oracle Version 1.6, high
performance backup software for Oracle 9i and 10g on Windows and Linux
Xceleon Technologies has officially released version 1.6 of HyperBac for
Oracle, the first release for general availability of the Linux version of the
HyperBac product. HyperBac for Oracle incorporates high performance integrated
compression and AES encryption technology to compress and encrypt data as it is
backed up via Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN), Export (EXP) or other backup
methods. This results in substantial disk and tape storage cost savings as well
as a reduction in backup times and backup windows and a significant increase in
transaction throughput during the backup process.
Xceleon Technologies is the vendor for HyperBac on Oracle software for the
Windows and Linux platforms.
